Each tutored session provides the candidate with the information and tools required, to carry out successive projects within the workplace, thereby providing the basis for the implementation of an environmental management system to ISO 14001 or EMAS.

Candidates would be expected to have foundation knowledge equivalent to that provided within the Level 3 Environmental Management Programme, shown above.

There is no formal examination. Evidence is collected, to demonstrate that performance criteria laid down in the environmental standards are consistently met.
